Football in the Bulgarian community

We are Darren and Nikki Weeks, originally from Exmouth in Devon, UK, we came to live in Yambol, Bulgaria in December 2006.  We now live in a rural village called General Inzovo with a population of 1100 and we are lucky to have been accepted into the village and to participate in many celebrations, festivals and events here.

Darren has always had a passion for football.  In the UK he was a successful manager, trainer and player for several clubs over the years and when we moved to Bulgaria his love of the game didn't go away.  Despite things being much slower here, Bulgarians love football too.  Sadly the facilities and opportunities are less available however we aim to change this all in good time!

With the help of friends, family and you, I am sure we can all make a huge difference to kids who want to play football in Bulgaria
